At our second visit to Pretschen, we had the honor to get a private tour by organic farmer and main employer of the region Sascha Philipp from Landgut Pretschen. He showed us around all other buildings belonging to the Edith Maryon foundation (such as the old beautiful distillery) and shared his experience of coming to the village as an “outsider” 25 years ago. He is now one of the main village spokes people. Also his wife and him are currently enlarging the current farm shop – so there will be even more local, organic products to choose from in the future.
